Website Exclusive: The Loyalty Penalty

Sharing an exclusive behind the scenes look at something I’ve been working on to support women in making career choices that are best for them—and help create workplaces that value women leaders for their contributions.

I hear again and again from clients and friends that they’re unsure about leaving jobs that no longer motivate or fulfill them, because they feel a deep sense of loyalty to their team. This commitment to the people they serve, which is both admirable and a reflection of one of their many strengths as a leader, unfortunately holds them back in their own career growth. The “loyalty penalty,” as I’ve named it, is something I’m researching and writing more on in the coming months.

Want to share with me about your experiences with the loyalty penalty? Send me a note. And be sure to get on my email list so you’re first to hear when I share more.
